The Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program (NECRCP) offers citizenship by investment. Citizenship is granted in exchange for a direct contribution to the Nauru Treasury Fund. The funds raised under the program are allocated to projects addressing urgent environmental and climate-related challenges. Applications are typically processed within three to four months.

A Nauruan passport provides visa-free access to 86 countries and territories. Visa-free travel does not include the United Kingdom or the Schengen Area.
